Fundamental Attribution Error – Valencia Legal Education
March 1, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
One event on March 1, 2019 at 12:00pm
Join the Peace and Justice Institute in this interesting and enlightening class. Participants will learn what Fundamental Attribution Error (FAE) looks like in every-day life, the particulars of this cognitive bias, and its effect on conflict. FAE with clients and opposing counsel will be thoughtfully reflected upon and explored. Participants will receive readily-usable tools to mitigate the effects of FAE and to skillfully navigate this often conflict-producing bias.
We all have these biases. And they affect our practice of law – the way we make decisions, interface with opposing counsel and clients, and navigate conflict. Learn how these biases manifest, how they affect you in your law practice and in your life, and what tools you can use to successfully navigate them.
Please bring your lunch and join us. We look forward to seeing you soon! Click here to register.
